Recently the rapid death of a 23 yr old woman in Fort Collins, CO from sepsis which the media originally reported as bacterial meningitis has sparked lots of confusion between the two conditions. Yesterday we posted the signs and symptoms of sepsis in our continuing Countdown to Flu 2010 blog series. Today we would like to specifically target the differences between meningitis and sepsis.
