The tireless mother of 7-year-old Mac is lending her voice and (walking shoes) in support of school programming and funding for Autism during the 7th Annual Pasco County Schools Autism Awareness Walk, Saturday, April 9 from 9am-12pm at Odessa Elementary School in New Port Richey, FL.

“I have a very personal reason for supporting this most important cause.  My child has autism and I know very well the impact that this devastating disorder has on children and families.  I also believe that through appropriate, intensive, and early education, children with autism can fully develop and reach their potential. We have been fortunate enough to find this out first hand with our son, Mac, who has benefitted from Autism programs through Pasco County Schools for 5 years now!” –Jonica Chittum

Community Hospital, the future Medical Center of Trinity, and Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point are proud sponsors of the 7th Annual Pasco County Schools Autism Awareness Walk. For questions and details, call (727) 774-8912.
